This satire makes fun of the fact that cigarettes can cause cancer. Although everyone knows this, some choose to smoke anyway. This satire uses good contrast by having the different colors against the faded blue and also having the pink to represent the fact that this is focusing on women. Repetition is used by having the breast cancer symbol and also keep referring back to the name of the website which is "smoke for the cure". Alignment is used well by having the women and their thoughts line up nicely with the cigarette packet. Proximity is also used well because you know what thoughts belong to who and how in the corner it says "a pack a day keeps cancer away" and "smoke for the cute" which is the name of the website as well.
This satire is referring to the fact pharmacies always want your money and even if you're healthy they will always try to find something wrong with you so you can buy something. Good contrast is used because of the yellow background with the blue and red pills. It definitely catches your eye. Repetition is not really used in this satire except for the two talking pills. Alignment is used because the word "pharma" is right under the pills. Proximity is used because each thought is clearly in a bubble that belongs to each pill.
This is a satire about the fact that a support group is supposed to make you feel as though you aren't alone but in reality you are. Contrast is used by the different colors of chairs and the black writing against the white wallpaper. Repetition is not really being used here. Alignment is being used by the chairs being lined up in a circle like in a normal support group and the thoughts being clearly from the one woman. Proximity is not really used here or needed.
For my satire I decided to go outside my comfort zone and do a comic. In my comic it displays that a teacher realizes that she should have majored in Secondary Education because she realizes she did not want to teach little kids. This relates back to my project because people want to teach the age group that they are connected to and if she did not feel connected to little kids then she should of realized that before she got her degree.
